Co-Founder and Chief Relationship Officer

Matt is the Co-Founder and Chief Relationship Officer of Markin Asset Management where he focuses on building vibrant, lasting relationships with Markin’s investors and partners. He brings nearly fifteen years of experience managing complex relationships with sophisticated investors to the firm. Starting from the earliest days of his investment management career, Matt has seen strong and growing demand from a wide variety of investors for alpha, yield and reduced exposure to losses. Matt is a passionate advocate of utilizing a full, modern investment management toolkit – rigorous analytics, selective investing, disciplined trading, and active capital preservation – to achieve outstanding long-term results for investors. Previously, Matt managed a diverse $2BN portfolio of family office, charitable foundation, and high net worth assets for Bank of America Private Bank (formerly US Trust). Prior to BoA, he developed his career at T3 Trading Group, Laidlaw & Company and Webster Financial. Matt received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation. He resides in Connecticut with his wife, daughter and two dogs.
